TeleEye Holdings Limited (SEHK: 8051) was listed in the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in 2001. Signal CommunicationsLimited, a wholly owned subsidiary company of TeleEye Holdings Limited, is the main operation arm of the TeleEye Group. The Group is the first publicly traded spin-off from an academic institution in Hong Kong. The listing further enhanced TeleEye's brand awareness and marked a historical event as TeleEye was the first hi-tech company nurtured by a local government sponsored university in Hong Kong.
