TeleEye again provides temporary CCTV installations that can protect a site from intruders, protect specific areas of risk on a site, monitor deliveries and provide a continuous recording of all site activities.

A building site, Aspects in Slough of King's Oak in UK has installed two CCTV towers to help them tackling vandalism and theft, with any site management benefits coming as a bonus. Each tower was mounted a TeleEye RX Video Recording Server and dome as well as static cameras, Infra Red detectors, flood lighting and public address system.

The construction site had one entrance which was continually monitored from one tower. Kings Oak managers were able to view who was entering the site logging the time and recording resulting activity. Another tower was positioned at a designated area to ensure that equipment was returned at the end of each day. Both Indigo tower installations also constantly verified safety rules and monitored staff movements.

Kings Oak clearly noted that the cost of the CCTV system was dramatically outweighed by the money the company would have lost to theft and vandalism. The additional site management benefits were further justification for the system.

Andrew Hills, of Indigo, TeleEye's installation partner commented, "There are some specific features of the TeleEye system that our customers find invaluable. Being able to watch the site from a remote location using a mobile phone is one of them, as is the ability to view more than one site at any given time. The very presence of CCTV towers reduces theft immediately. A significant number of our installations have cut site theft to virtually nil. The few thefts that do occur are recorded."
